BANGALORE: Traffic is likely to be affected on Sunday during Congress President Sonia Gandhi's visit to the city for a party convention at Palace Grounds.

The traffic police have made diversions on major roads in the city as hundreds of supporters are expected to be ferried into the city for the public meeting.

A release from the city police commissioner stated that separate entry gates will also be arranged at Palace Grounds for different vehicles.

FROM KOLAR SIDE: Old Madras Road - Outer Ring Road - Hebbal flyover - Bellary Road - Mekhri Circle - Jayamahal Road - Palace Grounds

FROM HOSUR ROAD: Silk Board junction - Outer Ring Road - Old Madras road - Outer Ring Road - Hebbal flyover - Bellary Road - Mekhri Circle - Jayamahal Road - Palace Grounds.

FROM KANAKAPUR ROAD: Sarakki junction - Outer Ring Road - Mysore Road - Kimco junction - West of Chord road - Yeshwanthpur circle - BHEL circle - Mekhri circle - Ramana Maharshi Road - Palace Grounds (Gayatri Gate)

FROM VIJAYANAGAR ROAD: MC junction - Chord road - Yeshwanthpur - BHEL circle - Mekhri circle - Palace Grounds (Gayatri Gate)

FROM TUMKUR ROAD: Left at Gorguntepalya - MES road - Outer Ring Road - Hebbal flyover - Mekhri Circle - Jayamahal road - Palace Grounds

From 8 am to 3 pm, traffic will be restricted from JC Nagar police station to Mekhri circle. However, there will be no restriction on movement of vehicles from Mekhri circle towards JC Nagar police station.
