Traffic towards J.C. Nagar police station from Mehkri Circle banned


BANGALORE: The police have made elaborate arrangements to ensure that vehicular movement is not affected in Bangalore on Sunday in view of the Congress convention to be held at the Palace Grounds.

According to a press release from Commissioner of Police Neelam Achuta Rao, vehicles coming from Bellary Road should turn left at Mehkri Circle, pass through Jayamahal Road and enter the Palace Grounds from Mavinakayi Mandi Gate.

Vehicles coming from Kolar Road should pass through Old Madras Road, turn right at the Outer Ring Road, pass through Hebbal flyover, Mehkri Circle Jayamahal Road and reach Mavinakayi Mandi Gate.

Those coming from Hosur Road should turn right at the Central Silk Board junction, pass through Old Madras Road and reach the venue.

Vehicles from Kanakapura Road have to turn left at Sarakki junction, pass through the Outer Ring Road, Mysore Road, turn left at KIMCO junction, pass through West of Chord Road, Yeshwanthpur Circle, enter the venue through Gayathri Gate.

Vehicles coming from Magadi should turn left at Beggars' Colony junction, pass through Ring Road, Jayamahal Road and enter the venue through Mavinakayi Mandi Gate.

The police have banned the movement of vehicles towards J.C. Nagar police station from Mehkri Circle from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
