Aviation boom waiting to happen here

Bangalore can become a huge destination for aviation outsourcing. There is plenty of engineering and aviation talent available, and it’s only logical to encourage this aspect of the city.
We are currently depending a lot on getting our work done from outside Bangalore, but the situation can change if we put our minds to it. Let’s get international aviation companies to look towards Bangalore. An aviation BPO boom is waiting to happen here.
Bangalore needs multiple airports and not just one international airport. Look at London. There are five airports or so, and everyone takes to these airports depending on the proximity levels and the destination to be reached. The positive aspect about that is these airports compete with each other and, thus, quality goes up. That’s what we need to do in Bangalore as well.
But here, we are choked by bureaucracy. They may have their own problems, but someone has to take the responsibility of planning the city. Today, you can’t walk around Bangalore because of the filth and garbage. The inner city has been decaying for years.
I realise that IT has been receiving a lot of flak but it has provided plenty of jobs to villagers. I see it myself on my flights when I talk to many passengers who are from small villages, and they are flying to Bangalore to meet their children working in IT companies. So it’s not fair to target IT.
