Juma Masjid-Town Hall road near Silver Jubilee Park Road will be closed for around a month from Thursday to facilitate construction works. Alternative arrangements have been made for the smooth traffic flow.

Meanwhile, parking has been banned on NR Road from Town Hall junction to Husman Khan Road end.

NR Road from Town Hall junction to Sirsi Circle Flyover intersection will be made two-way.

Vehicles coming from Mysore Road through flyover should travel along NR Road and take left turn near Kumbaragudi. Buses can proceed further towards Town Hall junction passing in front of Dasappa Hospital. But other vehicles have to take Pylvan Krishnappa Road and OTC Road, to reach NR Square.Vehicles coming from Mysore to City Market junction can take right turn for Kalasipalyam Main Road, or come to Jamia Masjid junction take a right turn and go through NR Road Cross and Bamboo Bazaar to reach Kalasipalyam main road.

Parking banned in NR road and Bamboo Bazaar. To prevent hapzard parking on narrow streets around Langford Road and Richmond Road. Parking slots have been marked on one side of the road.

The rule will come into force from July 12. On these roads parking will be allowed on one side. Handry Road, Shanthi Road, Lakshmi Road , Lakshmi Road 5th Cross, Basappa Road, Eagle Street, Shanthinagar Main Road, Langford Cross Road, Markam Road, Prime Rose Cross Road, Wellington Road, Rehnis Street.

Parking banned: Parking has been banned on Race Course Road, from Basaveshwara Circle to Anandarao Circle. No vehicle will be allowed from Anandarao Circle to Rangaswamy Circle. Two-way traffic has been retained from Rangaswamy Circle to Trilite junction.
