The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) will hear objections of land owners against acquisition of land for the formation of Peripheral Ring Road Part-1 from January 10 to February 6.

The BDA is conducting the public hearing meets at various places for this purpose. The objections filed by the land owners for the preliminary notifications issued for acquiring lands would be considered during the public hearing, according to an official press release.

The BDA on Saturday recovered its properties worth Rs 17.25 crore by clearing encroachments on two sites measuring 40 x 60 ft on West of Chord Road and one acre land in Jarakabande Kaval.

Meanwhile, the authority has handed over the Amarjyothi House Building Co-operative Society Layout to the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike.
