Bangalore Mahanagara Palike held a meeting pertaining to asphalting of City roads, chaired by S K Venkatesh, Chairman, Public Works Standing Committee on Saturday, which was attended by BMP contractors, engineers and officials.

Hearing out the problems voiced by the contractors, the chairman discussed these issues and chalked out probable solutions with the officials. It was also decided that the tender processes for taking up works should to be speeded up where asphalting of roads would take priority.
