The City has one more electric crematorium. The ‘Chirashanthi Dhama’, built at a cost of Rs 2.38 crore, is near the Hebbal flyover on Bellary road.

The work, taken up under the Mega City Project, was built in 18 months.

Speaking to reporters after inaugurating the crematorium, Mayor R Narayanaswamy said efforts would be made to improve basic amenities not only within the Bangalore City but also around Bangalore.
