Hosur Road, Sarjapur Road made one-way

BANGALORE, MARCH 9. The Commissioner of Police, S. Mariswamy, on Wednesday passed orders making Hosur Main Road and Sarjapur Road into one-way from March 12 to ease the traffic congestion on the two busy roads.

According to a release from Mr. Mariswamy, vehicles will not be allowed towards the Madivala police station junction on Hosur Main Road (Madivala Main Road) from the Sarjapur-Hosur Road junction.

Vehicles have to take a left turn at the Hosur-Sarjapur Road junction, enter Sarjapur Road, pass by Koramangala water tank, take a right turn at the Krupanidhi College junction, enter Madivala Santhebeedhi and then take a left turn at the Madivala police station junction to join Hosur Main Road. Entry of vehicles will be prohibited from the Krupanidhi College junction towards the Hosur-Sarjapur Road junction on Sarjapur Road. Vehicles have to pass through Madivala Santhebeedhi, take a right turn at the Madivala police station junction, enter Hosur Main Road and join Sarjapur Road through the Aiyappa Temple junction.

Vehicles going towards Koramangala BDA complex and 100 feet road from Sarjapur Road have to take a right turn at the Aiyappa Temple junction and pass by Koramangala water tank. On Madivala Santhebeedhi, vehicles will not be allowed towards the Krupanidhi College junction from the Hosur Main Road-Madivala police station junction, the release said.
