BANGALORE: Traffic arrangements for Aero India
The route for VIPs who use Bellary Road from BIAL to city: BIAL-Bellary Road- Attiganagalli-Chikkajala-Airforce Station- Amrithahalli-Hebbal Flyover-CBI Junction- Mekhri Circle.
For people who travel from city to BIAL: Mekhri Circle-New BEL Road-BEL Circle- Yelahanka-Doddaballapura Road- Rajanukunte- MVIT Circle-Bellary Road.
The route for people starting from Bangalore West and South areas towards BIAL: Outer Ring Road-New BEL Circle- Gangammanagudi-Air Force station-MS Palya- Mother Dairy-Yelahanka-Doddaballapura Road-Rajanukunte- MVIT Gate- BIAL. People headed for Aero-India show can also use these roads; at Yelahanka they can deviate to Kogilu Cross and reach Air Force Station.
People coming from Bangalore East and South-East areas towards BIAL can use the Outer Ring Road-Hennur Road-Bagalur- Devannahalli town route. Those headed for Aero India can use these roads and from Nagawara, take the Nagawara- Thanisandra-Kogilu-Kogilu Cross-Bellary Road route or go via Hennur Road-Bagalur Road- Bagalur Cross.
Parking arrangements
VIPs, invitees can enter from Gate A, businessmen, media from Gate B to respective parking lots. Those with ADVA tickets must enter from Kogilu Circle and come towards Indian Petrol Bunk through service road and go via APTS Cross-Gantaganahalli for parking lot. Vehicles from Devanahalli must take right turn near Kogilu Cross and enter ADVA parking area.
Public can then use BMTC buses arranged.
People coming from Devanahalli too can use BMTC buses to reach the venue.
The public are also informed to get into the vehicles after the Aero Show and move towards Gantaganahalli-Doddaballapura Road-Yelhanka-Mother Dairy-Outer Ring Road-BEL Circle or Yelahanka- Bellary Road to enter city. Vehicles parked in Air Force Station premises have to use the Hunasamaranahalli- Bellary road to enter city and can also use Bagalur Cross- Nagavara- Thanisandra- Outer ring road route.
Vehicles banned
From Feb 11 to 15 heavy vehicles banned on Bellary Road from 6 am to 10 pm except KSRTC and private buses. They can use alternative roads. Vehicles from Hyderabad towards Tumkur road must come through Devanahalli-NH 207-Doddaballapura road- Dabbaspet and join Tumkur road. Vehicles coming from Tumkur towards Hyderabad must take left turn at Dabbaspet and can join NH-207.
Vehicles from Mysore towards Hyderabad can use Outer Ring Road-Nelamangala- Kanaswadi- Rajanukunte-MVIT route and join Bellary road.
®Vehicles towards Old Madras Road can use Boodigere Cross-NH 207 and join Devanahalli.
