News regarding the impending closure of the famed Coffee House on M G Road this month-end had upset coffee lovers in the City.

However, some good news seems to be brewing. Sources indicate that the closure might be delayed by three more months. The news, however, could not be confirmed with the management.

“We have heard that it might not down shutters by February-end and can continue working here for three more months,” a source said.

Another source said that he had received news that a temporary extension has been granted for running the place. A crucial meeting in this connection will be organised by the Board on Wednesday evening. A final decision in this connection will be taken then and the news will be made public, he added. Agreement documents in this connection might also be signed at that time.
