Maruthinagar 'magic' drain in one month

The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike has said that it will construct an underground drain at Maruthinagar near Madiwala traffic police station within one month using the magic box technique.


While the underground drain construction at the Brigade Road-Residency Road junction is still in progress, the BBMP has taken over another work of the same sort at Maruthinagar from Thursday. Some of the traffic routes have been diverted so that the work will not get affected.

Traffic will now on be diverted from BTM 16th Main to Gangotri Bar Junction and from there the vehicles will move on the Maruthinagar Main Road to touch the Sarjapur junction and to proceed for Koramangala and Check Post.
For the time being, vehicles going towards Koramangala and Adugodi will pass through the Tavarekere Main Road and will take right turn at Tavarekere junction to proceed through the Dr Marigowda Road check-post junction.

Vehicles coming from the Koramangala water tank to move towards the BTM Layout-16th Main will come near Ayyappa temple and proceed up to the Airtel office, take a left turn and pass through the Maruthinagar Main Road and BMP Layout 100 Ft Ring Road.
