KRV protest against Bangalore Habba

KRV (Karnataka Rakshana Vedike) activists staged a protest against state government's decision to fund Bangalore Habba. The protestors who burnt state government chief secretary Sudhakar Rao's effigy asked the state government to withdraw the funds released to Bangalore Habba immediately.



Around hundred activists gathered at Mysore bank circle and warned that the chief minister would be gheraoed at its inaugural event if the state does not act.



"Bangalore Habba is of no use to Kannadigas," said T.A Narayanagowda, president, KRV. "So we demand the state government should withdraw the funds released, else we will not allow it to happen," he said.
