BANGALORE: The repair work on a collapsed culvert taken up by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) at the Brigade Road-Residency Road junction will be completed by Tuesday night, BBMP Chief Engineer (SWD) Chikkarayappa said.

Pre-cast elements, that were used to reconstruct the stormwater drain, were filled with cement slurry at the bottom to ensure free flow of storm water. However, these boxes had increased the height of the road but now this has been levelled out and there is no problem, he said.

The road will be open for traffic from Wednesday morning, he said.
