Transport Minister R Ashok hinted at the reintroduction of the Sakrama scheme in the City.


However, the regularisation fee might be lower than that proposed by the previous regime last year. “We will consider bringing in the Sakrama scheme, but it will not be like the previous one. It will be affordable to all. It will be more cheaper for people from the weaker sections. Say, it will be quite cheap for owners of 20’x30’ site,” the minister said.
