Outstation buses from Shantinagar

KSRTC will operate extra buses to meet festival rush

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is taking precautions to reduce traffic in and around the Kempe Gowda bus station during the festive season.

It is operating hundreds of special buses from the city to different parts of the state and pilgrimage centres. Additional buses will be deployed to Dharmasthala, Kukkesubramanya, Shimoga, Hassan, Davangere, Hubli, Belgaum, Bijapur, Raichur, Gulbarga, Bellary and other places.

From Shantinagar bus stand

Around 100 special buses (except Volvo) will operate from the BMTC bus stand (Shantinagar terminus) to Madurai, Kumbakonam, Trichy, Chennai, Coimbatore and other places in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

Mysore Road terminus

Only special services (identified for advance reservation) towards destination in North-West Karnataka (Hubli, Dharwad, Belgaum, Bijapur, Gokarna, Sirsi and Karwar etc) will be operated from Mysore satellite road bus terminus.

Additional stop

Special buses of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) will stop at Jakkarayanakere grounds.
