In a day-long major haul, the BDA recovered encroached property worth Rs 25 crore at Banashankari Layout, 5th stage, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, on Wednesday by razing down structures.

BDA recovered six acres of land by demolishing four asbestos sheet houses, four RCC structures, a garage, and a compound wall put across two acres unauthorizedly on Survey Number 251 of Halagevaderahalli.

The demolition drive will be completed on Thursday and recovered area will be fenced.

The demolition operation was carried out by the BDA Task Force in assistance with executive engineer (south division) and local police.
