Sangliana terms it 'third class'
Bangalore, DHNS:
BJP MP H T Sangliana has lashed out at Bangaluru International Airport, terming it as a "Brand New Third Class Airport".

Addressing his relatives and well-wishers at a function organised on the occasion of his 66th birthday, the police officer-turned-politician, chose the Devanahalli International Airport to criticise the corrupt system existing in the country. A lot of money has been spent but the outcome is that the airport has not lived up to expectations, was his verdict. “I don’t know what all the things a new airport should have but one thing I know is that it is a ‘brand new third class airport’, he charged.

He continued with his tirade: “The finishing is poor, cleanliness is missing. Pillars, beams, glasses and windows are all dirty. There are grave deficiencies and shortcomings in the new airport.” He said he would like to continue working as MP because it would be of help to a number of poor people to have someone to represent them in parliament.
