WHICH WAY TO GO?

Bangalore: The legal tangle with Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE) over the Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) case has the state administration in a quandary. Not only has former CM H D Kumaraswamy been slammed for not following the Supreme Court’s order, governor Rameshwar Thakur has been forced to sit up and think.
Taking serious note of the SC issuing contempt notices to the state government and seven top bureaucrats, Thakur, during the previous executive committee meeting, is understood to have discussed the issue with advocate general B V Acharya.
However, the administration could not take a decision on what it should do when the next hearing of the contempt case takes place.
