To make the process of obtaining electoral photo identity cards (EPICs) hassle free for citizens, the Office of Chief Electoral Officer (OCEO) has tied up with BangaloreOne centres in the city.


From April 21, citizens can drop the 001 forms along with passport-sized photographs in the drop boxes placed in the designated EPIC centres and collect the cards after 48 hours from the nearest BangaloreOne centre.

District Electoral Officers for Bangalore - B S Ramaprasad and M A Sadiq told Deccan Herald on Thursday, “People will be given an acknowledgement and can collect the cards from the designated BangaloreOne centres for the particular EPIC centres. This offline facility will continue till May 5,” Sadiq explained. Explaining that the facility is only for voters who do not have a photo identity card, Ramprasad said the application forms will be available in the offices of the concerned Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AERO), BBMP ward offices, Taluka offices, all BangaloreOne centres and also on www.bangalore.voterid.org.

Applications will be received at the specified EPIC centres on the specified date for the specified polling stations between 8 am and 6 pm,
