Bangalore: On the fourth day of the magic box underpass work at BDA junction, the BBMP has placed 18 precast elements.
It completed placing 15 elements on one side across Bellary Road. The second row is being placed parallel
to enable free flow of vehicles over the magic box. Vehicles plying from V S Raja Road and Palace Cross Road will now be allowed into the magic box to take Bellary Road.
BWSSB officials will shift the 900 mm diameter water pipe on Saturday and Sunday, said a BBMP official.
After launching all 30 elements at the BDA junction, an embankment (retaining wall) will be created with cellular box construction technology.
