Bangalore: As work on Namma Metro progresses through dotted deadlines, the Monorail — proposed as a feeder network — is awaiting a report from the developers’ consortium. The Asia Infrastructure
Consortium, tipped to develop the Monorail network in the city, has sought more time from the state government to prepare the detailed project report.
K Jothiramalingam, principal secretary, Urban Development Department, said the project details could be zeroed in on only after the DPR is submitted. The technical and commercial proposals had been cleared by the Kumaraswamy government in Oct 2007.
