18 pre-cast elements placed for underpass

As many as eighteen pre-cast elements have been placed for construction of underpass at BDA junction. Till Tuesday morning seven elements were placed.


This is the second underpass coming up on Bellary Road after the one at Cauvery junction. The Palike has aimed at completing the underpass within 45 days.

Palike Commissioner Dr S Subramanya has said the traffic police have been cooperating with the Palike in completing the work at the earliest.

The work is going at a fast pace because of better coordination between the police and the Palike, he said. Movement of traffic was normal on Wednesday as it was a government holiday.
