Habba adds dash of colour to B'lore

Habba adds dash of colour to B'lore
DH News Service, Bangalore:
The spirit of Bangalore came alive when the ever-busy Bangaloreans took some time off to relax and get entertained.

Though it was a week day, a large number of people thronged different destinations across the City on Tuesday where Bengalooru Habba is on.

St George Square in Cubbon Park was beautifully decorated with colourful lights and diyas. Both children and adults enjoyed being a part of visual art interactive stalls set up by the Shrishti School. People painted, sketched, made clay articles and even got their face masks done in plaster of Paris by master craftsmen.

In another event, rendition of Hindustani vocal and santoor by ace musicians Venkatesh Kumar and Rahul Sharma had the predominantly elderly audience spellbound at Ambedkar Bhavan.

Musicians from the Gerard Machado Network gave an amazing Jazz performance at Alliance Francaise. The packed auditorium consisting of both the young and the old appreciated every bit of all time favourite tunes like ‘So what’ and Night in Tunisia’ among others.

The Habba concludes on December 6 and promises to bring many more entertaining events for the masses.
