Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Top officials of the State Government will on Wednesday discuss whether changes are required in the design of the Bangalore International Airport at Devanahalli.

Minister for Tourism and Infrastructure Development B. Sriramulu told presspersons here on Tuesday that the architects had suggested minor changes, including tile design on the platform and the terminal building.

"There is nothing wrong with the runway of the international airport, and the same contractor has also laid the runway at the international airport in Hyderabad," he said.

The meeting also will discuss the subject of having two airports: one for domestic flights and the other for international flights.
