Changes in BDA’s master plan

Changes in BDA’s master plan
DH News Service Bangalore:
Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) is incorporating some special features of Delhi’s “Vision Plan” into its Master Plan and, hence, the process of finalising the plan has been delayed, BDA Commissioner Shankarlinge Gowda said.

Speaking to reporters, he said that Delhi “vision plan” has many good features for the balanced growth of a city.

Mr Shankarlinge Gowda, however, did not divulge any information on what those special features are.

Approval

Meanwhile, the BDA’s Master Plan is awaiting final approval for the last two-and-a-half years.

In 2004, the BDA called for public objections against the draft plan.

But the BDA has not taken the final decision on implementing the master plan so far.
