Bangalore: Police have banned parking on either side of Bannerghatta Road, from Dairy Circle to Meenakshi Temple Junction, with effect from Sunday. They have also banned parking on either side of Dickenson Road, from Ulsoor Road-Dickenson Road Junction to Hasnath Women's College.

In a notification issued here on Sunday, Police Commissioner N. Achuta Rao said that haphazard parking on both roads had affected the movement of traffic. The ban on parking would ensure smooth flow of traffic on both roads, he said.
