Sun Network will on November 6 launch 93.5 SFM, its 24x7 entertainment radio station. Under the brand caption Mast Maja Madi, the station will feature a mix of Kannada and Tamil film hits.
While the Kannada-speaking Radio Jockeys (RJs) promise contemporary and interactive fare, Tamil film songs will comprise close to 30 per cent share of the channel’s content.
93.5 SFM is part of Sun Network’s expansion plans, under which the channel will also be launched in Hyderabad and Jaipur cities on November 6.

HI all,
Its happy to hear that many FM stations are stepping in bangalore with new ideas. But unless any station give importance to Kannada language, kannada songs, cant reach NO.1 however many years may remain in FM transmission field. In Bangalore, all though a metro city, people with different language stay, Kannada is the official & general language. So, unless FM stations stop playing other language songs, never yield good result or may go off air without notice. so, PLAY KANNADA, SPEAK KANNADA, reach the SUCCESS.
SFM is one of the FM station who showed its true colors. As they were proclaiming earlier as 24 hr COMPLETE KANNADA FM STATION, now they nowhere deserve that title. If the same continues with prominence to hindi songs & with background music of tamil songs, surely go off air in no time. Its real fact, wherever you go adopt the culture of that land & give prominence to their values. Then SUCCESS will touch your hands.
When SFM first started transmission, had good name, lot positive responses. But gradually its losing listeners due to importance to HINDI SONGS & playing tamil music in background. Nowdays people giving importance to BIG 92.7, RADIO MIRCHI & RADIO ONE stations as they give more importance to KANNADA, never show their origin smell. Value the culture, language & region where to want success. Hope the guys SFM got wat i mean.

y SFM93.5 is only in bangalore,y cant it can be launched throught tha karanataka.hubli is not having one private fm radio also, so it should be launched in hubli also.radio listners r not only in south,they r in north karanataka also.there are many kannada listners in hubli n other cities if north karanataka.

since many days more number of requests r coming regarding the launch of SFM93.5 in hubli,y there is no responce for these coments,y only FM station are starting in south karanataka,wats the problem in hubli,atleat SFM 93.5 should be launched in hubli,its the only radio station which plays kannada songs.if it will be set up in hubli and some other cities of north karanataka,people will be happy,also there will be increase in kannada songs listners.
since many days so many requests are coming regarding teh launch of SFM in hubli-DHARWAD.Y there is no any reply to these comments,hubli_dharwad which are teh main cities next to bangalore, n also of north karanataka,SFM is launching in north karanataka that also only in gulbarga,y it is neglecting hubli&dharwad.

please launch an fm station in hubli..
it will be a great hit.
