Jairaj orders improvement to BTM 29th main road

BANGALORE: Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) commissioner K Jairaj on Saturday inspected roads in south zone and ordered the officials to complete the works on 29th main road in BTM layout by this month end.

He ordered to repair the road to have uniform width, clear shoulder drain and obstruction free sidewalks. The road should have proper asphalting, bus shelters and good streetlights, he instructed.

Jairaj also visited Bannerghatta Road, Koramangala 80 feet road, Kammanahalli main road, NR Square road, Kathriguppe main road and Magadi main road.

He ordered timely completion of these roads.

Chief engineer (projects) A M Ranganath, KMRP director Puttamaligaiah and KLAC Joint Director Venkatesh Murthy were present.
