The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has warned site owners in BDA layouts to pay their land taxes within the next fortnight (before August 25).

The BDA has sent ‘Demand cum challan’ to the site owners through post. But in many cases the demand notices have come back without being served. The defaulting site owners will be liable for action as per the rules, said a press release issued here on Saturday.

“Taxes are dues in many cases. We request the allottees who have not yet received the demand notices to contact the respective revenue officer and pay the taxes,” added the release.
