Bangaloreans outline vision on TIMES NOW
The Times of India

Bangalore: Bangalore’s crowded streets, traffic jams, grime, crime, pollution and potholes may daunt many a newcomer but it also hosts some of the country’s most swanky design and development facilities set up by multinational and Indian companies.
Bangalore’s Biotech Queen Kiran Mazumdar Shaw said on the ‘Bangalore Tomorrow’ show that kicked off on Monday: “The unruly, indisciplined traffic that we have in Bangalore calls for a huge effort in traffic management.’’
Catch icons like Nandan Nilekani, Devi Shetty, Vani Ganapathy, Arundhati Nag and U R Anantha Murthy come forward to report their vision for the series on TIMES NOW, the 24-hour English television news channel.
Bangalore Tomorrow, Action Today, For Tomorrow is the new focus on Urban Trends on the channel. The series has started with ‘I Report From Bangalore’, a series of vignettes where the regular news faces have taken a back seat and prominent Bangaloreans are playing the role of reporter.
As part of its regular news, this TIMES NOW initiative will present vision, insights and information on the cities infrastructure, environment, crime and emerging industries, thereby shaping a vision for Bangalore’s Tomorrow, all of it voiced by the people of Bangalore!
The channel has launched an aggressive on-ground campaign, wherein the viewers will get a chance to voice their opinion to the camera crews in the city. This is also supported by an aggressive SMS contest to weave in greater interactivity and encourage Bangaloreans to speak up for their city.
