BANGALORE :Rainfall pre ceded by thunder and lightning continued on Wednesday evening.

As many as 10 trees were uprooted within an hour of rain, mostly insouthern parts of Banga lore.

Electricity poles col lapsed in K R Puram and near Metro in RMC Yard, causing disruption in electricity supply.

A faulty drain near Kumara Krupa Road led to water logging for some time. The BMP personnel eased the water flow.

Water logging spared low-lying areas, but were reported near MallyaHospital and Hudson Cir cle, due to blockage of water outlets.

The Meteorology Department officials report ed that the City recieved normal rainfall of 16.9 mm and the reading at HAL Airport was 10.8 mm.
