DO you have any complaint or grievance against the Bangalore Metropolitan T ransport Corporation (BMTC)? If so, you can register the same online without any hassles.

Following number of complaints pouring in fr public at the first two ’Public Participation’ mee of south and west zones organised by the B Commuter Advisory and Facilitation Committee (CAFC), the BMTC authorities have introduced facilities of online complaints for public.

"The website for public grievance was first elled by an NGO named Praja for Mumbai municipality . W e had thought of this concept for l finally have got it installed. However , thi only a week old and it is too early to s response from public right now ," said BMTC managing director U pendra T ripathy .

Commuters can register their complaints at www .bmtcinfo.com or call on the toll-free n 12667. "Complaints will be forwarded to the ments concerned for immediate action," D C Prakash, chief manager (MIS and Systems), BM said.

"There had been tremendous response from the public at the two zonal meetings of CAFC. People a now demanding that the authorities visit loc and identify problems themselves, " said co-chairp son of CAFC V K Somshekhar .

The suggestions from public are mainly two While the suggestions related to Jawaharlal National Urban Renewable Mission ( JNURM) will be compiled and shaped to a report and submitt Upendra T ripathy , other grievances will als addressed soon.
