Unnecessary tree trimming in Jayanagar

Who trimmed these trees?.. Students from an art group `Dyuthi' in Jayanagar, called Deccan Herald on Tuesday wanting to know the reason behind cutting the branches of huge trees on Elephant Rock Road in Jayanagar, when they neither obstructed traffic nor caused any inconvenience to the residents of the area. The students claimed that the officials could not give convincing reply for trimming the tree.
