Light showers cooled the scorching City, bringing welcome respite on Tuesday evening.

The City received just 1 mm of rainfall, Meteorological department said. Cloudy weather would continue for a couple of days more.The rain which started as offices downed shutters and people headed home, caught many by surprise. Traffic jams were another inevitable result.
