Bangalore: The Assembly on W ednesday passed without discussion the BDA (Amendment) Bill to implement the Hitech City scheme and construct a road linking Sarjapur Road and Hosur Road.

Moving the Bill, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said it had become necessary to amend the BDA Act to make provision for the scheme as a onetime measure.

Secondary Education Bill: The House also passed the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (Amendment) Bill which makes it mandatory for the Board to submit to the government annual audited accounts.
