In a week-long drive against rowdy elements in Bangalore, the City police has so far rounded-up 1,023 persons and booked a total of 156 cases in all the five zones.

On Monday the north zone police rounded-up 41 rowdies, the west zone rounded-up 19 rowdies, south zone police rounded-up 22 rowdies and booked 21 cases against them, central zone police have taken 20 rowdies into custody and booked one case and the east zone police rounded-up 31 rowdies and booked four cases against them.

Bangalore Police Commissioner Ajai Kumar Singh said on Tuesday that the police would continue to round-up rowdy elements in the City as part of the drive.
