Dalit activists demand resignation of B.S. Yediyurappa as Deputy Chief Minister

BANGALORE: Traffic was disrupted for two hours on Kempegowda Road and surrounding areas on Wednesday when the activists of Dalit Sangarsha Samithi (DSS) took out a procession to protest against the reported removal of a B.R. Ambedkar portrait from the office of Deputy Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa.

Hundreds of DSS workers gathered near Hudson Circle around 11.30 a.m. and held a public meeting at Banappa Park.

Later, they marched in a procession through Kempegowda Road and Mysore Bank Circle and reached the Government Arts College grounds.
