Bangalore: The foundation stone for the development of Moodalapalya (ward No. 38) was laid on Saturday in the presence of Kanakapura MP Tejaswini Sriramesh, Jaynagar MLA Ramalinga Reddy, MLC M Krishnappa and Shanta Kumari, corporator of the ward.

Shanta who has been elected as the corporator of the ward for the second time talked about the completion and beautification of the four parks under her jurisdiction.

“A total of 84 lakh has been spent on the renovation work of Akkamahadevi park in Basaveshwara nagar, Kitoor Rani Chennamma park in Adarsha nagar, Salumarada Thimmakka park and Swamy Vivekananda park in Kalyana nagar,’ she said.

The ward is being developed at a cost of Rs 341 lakh.
