Residents lay siege to road

Bangalore: Some 500 residents of Kempapura staged a protest on Tuesday morning at the junction of Pampa extension and Kempapura Road near Hebbal Circle flyover demanding repair of the roads. Residents blocked the road for over an hour and the protest was peaceful. The area falls under Byatarayanapura CMC.

The dharna was organised by Coffee Board Layout residents and site owners association. CMC Byatarayanapura commissioner promised that he would immediately invite tenders to take up road works.
