BANGALORE: The weather got colder and the rains on Monday and troubled many. While many areas in the city had showers in the morning, a few areas continued to receive rainfall till late evening.

Meteorological officials at Gandhi Krishi Vignana Kendra (GKVK) told this website’s newspaper that moderate rains could be expected till Wednesday night.

“Dense clouds are passing towards the western with a little inclination towards the north west. These clouds might bring moderate heavy rains,” said an official.

“Satellite pictures on Monday at 3.30 PM indicate light showers. Since the winds are blowing from the land towards the ocean, the city will experience chill weather,” he added.
