Yawn!! A feeling of deja vu?
Lalbagh to be greener
The Times of India
Bangalore: An orchadarium, an anthurium house, an alpine house and an insectivorous plant house — these will be the latest additions to the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens.
The horticulture and public works department have mooted a Rs 93.95-crore proposal. Work will start in another two or three months, horticulture minister Alangur Srinivas said on Tuesday.
“We propose to make Lalbagh a complete botanical garden,’’ Srinivas said. Other plans include: mudpaths with Hoskote gravel, pathways with interlocking cobble stones, grill work around the Glass House, a rock garden with waterfalls.
