Bangalore: The Jayadeva flyover will be open for traffic on Wednesday. Union urban development minister Ghulam Nabi Azad will join chief minister Dharam Singh for the inauguration ceremony.

However, the entire flyover complex is not ready. What is complete is just one portion of the flyover. Another portion, that was part of the original plan which included a crucial loop to bring in traffic from Bannerghatta Road towards Hosur, is still not ready, officials said. The underpass portion is also not ready and will take a few more months, officials said. But a portion of the grade separator roads is ready.

The flyover complex is in three levels — the flyover level, road level and underpass level.
