Film dharna to hit traffic

Watch out for traffic jams

Vijay Times

Bangalore: With various Kannada organisations set to take out a protest rally on Thursday, traffic in the central parts of the city is likely to be hit.

Anticipating the trouble, police have decided to divert the traffic in and around Vidhana Soudha. Accordingly, vehicles coming towards Vidhana Soudha from Ananda Rao circle, Race Course Road and Police Thimmiah Circle would be diverted, said ACP Lakshman Singh.

"Even though we have taken a few alternative measures, disruption in the traffic movement is not ruled out as the protestors have not indicated the route of the rally," said the Police Commissioner S Mariswamy.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic, East) MA Saleem said that additional measures had been taken to meet any eventuality. "We have deployed additional platoons in the sensitive parts of the city to manage traffic," he said.

Why cant these guys fight our politicians for the betterment of our communities and development of city instead of doing all this cacophony stuff and creating trouble to everybody. I am disappointed that Dr. Raj Kumar of all people is creating trouble. I hope he looses any sympathy or support he has from Bangaloreans.
These guys have all their priorities wrong and have too much time on their hands.
