BANGALORE: The nexus between land grabbers and the Bangalore City Corporation has come to light again.

The BCC had sanctioned a building plan applied by a private builder to construct a multi-storey structure on a land that belonged to the Bowring Hospital.

This ‘‘illegal’’ building would have gone un-noticed had Revanna not paid a visit to the hospital on Wednesday.

Upon inquiry, the minister pulled up the BCC commissioner K. Jyothiramalingam and directed him to furnish how the plan was sanctioned by the BCC. ‘‘I have asked him to furnish the documents so that we can take action and evict the land grabber from hospital premises,’’ he said.
