Are you interested in saving Bangalore? It's time to head for the NGO Hall at Cubbon Park at 11am. Raise your voice at the citizen's convention organised by Save Bangalore Committee to discuss BBMP's ongoing road-widening project. It's an effort to bring together all affected groups, says VN Rajshekar, joint convener, Save Bangalore Committee. Justice MF Saldanha will inaugurate the convention while litterateur UR Ananthamurthy will be the chief guest. Veteran freedom fighter HS Doreswamy, environmentalist Yellappa Reddy, LV Sriranga Raju, ex-chief engineer, BBMP, and urban planning expert George Kuruvilla are expected to be there.
