Underpass project: Traffic restrictions at Kendriya Sadan junction

With the construction of an underpass at Kendriya Sadan Junction (Ayyappa Temple Junction) in Madivala set to be completed in three months, the following traffic diversions will come into force to ensure smooth flow of traffic:

Vehicles going towards City Market, Majestic, Adugodi, and Shivajinagar from Electronics City, Silk Board, HSR Layout, BTM Layout were till now plying towards Ayyappa Temple Junction and Sarjapur Junction via Madivala police station Junction. Henceforth, Madivala police station junction (in front of Total Mall) will be out of bounds for them.

Alternatively, they should take a free right turn at Madivala police station junction, proceed towards Krupanidhi Junction via Madivala Market Road, turn left at Koramangala water tank junction, reach Sarjapur junction, take a right turn there and proceed further via the check post.

Vehicles coming from Electronics City, Silk Board, HSR Layout, BTM Layout and going towards Koramangala, BDA Complex, Canara Bank, Koramangala, 80 Feet Road and Neelasandra should take a free right turn at Madivala police station junction, reach Krupanidhi Junction via Madivala Market Road, take a left turn there, then turn left at Koramangala water tank junction for proceeding further.

Right turn

Vehicles coming from Electronics City, Silk Board, HSR Layout, BTM Layout and bound for Srinivagilu, Domlur, Old Airport Road, Indiranagar should take a right turn at Madivala police station junction, reach Krupanidhi junction via Madivala Market Road, connect directly to Sarjapur Road, turn left at Jakkasandra junction, then take a right turn at Sony World junction for proceeding further.

Vehicles coming from Electronics City, Silk Board, HSR Layout, BTM Layout and going towards Siddharth Colony, Maruthi Nagar, Taverekere should take a free right turn at Madivala police station junction, reach Krupanidhi junction via Madivala Market Road, take a left turn there, then another left turn at Koramangala water tank junction, turn right in front of Kendriya Sadan office, then take another right turn in front of Kallada Travels on Madivala Main Road (in front of the petrol bunk) for proceeding further.

Vehicles coming from Indiranagar, Domlur, Old Airport Road, Srinivagilu, Ejipura, Neelasandra and going towards Maruthi Nagar, Taverekere, Bannerghatta Road, Madivala check post cannot take a right turn near Madivala water tank. Instead, they should proceed directly in front of Kendriya Sadan office without taking a right turn at Koramangala water tank, take a right turn at Madivala Main Road, connect to the road in front of Kallada Travels (near petrol bunk), then take a right turn for going further.

Converted temporarily

Kendriya Sadan Cross Road has been converted temporarily into a one-way from east to west. In contrast, the stretch from Koramangala water tank junction to Kendriya Sadan office junction will be two-way temporarily from north to south.

Vehicles coming from Indiranagar, Domlur, Old Airport Road, Srinivagilu, Ejipura, and Neelsandra and bound for Madivala Market, Madivala, BTM Ring Road, HSR Ring Road, Silk Board junction, Hosur Road, and Electronics City cannot ply directly near Koramangala water tank.

Such vehicles should take a left-turn at Koramangala water tank junction, reach Krupanidhi junction via Sarjapur Road, then take a right-turn, go towards Madivala Market Road, reach Madivala police station junction and take a left turn there for proceeding further.

Vehicles coming from Majestic, City Market, Lakkasandra, Dairy Circle, MG Road, Adugodi and bound for Madivala Market Road, Madivala, BTM Ring Road, HSR Ring Road, Silk Board Junction, Electronics City, Chandapura, Attibele, and Hosur Road cannot go directly from St John's Hospital Junction.

Instead, they should take a left turn without going directly at Sarjapur Junction, reach Sarjapur Road and Koramangala water tank Junction, get to Krupanidhi College Junction, take a right turn, reach Madivala police station junction where they can take a free left turn for going further.

Entry of all vehicles, except those going towards Maruthi Nagar Main Road, will be banned near Ayyappa Temple Junction from the check post to Madivala.
