Residents stage protest
Bangalore, DHNS:

The residents of Bharathinagar on Tuesday staged a demonstration on the newly built Cox Town flyover, which could be thrown to public use anytime.

Around 500 residents and shopkeepers of Cox Town gathered at the Komala Hotel Junction to participate in the protest organised by the Bharathinagar Residents Welfare Association.
The residents were agitating over government’s decision to open the flyover keeping in view the BBMP elections but was least bothered about providing a service road, proper drainage system, garden, street light and parking place beneath the flyover.

Bharathinagar MLA S Raghu came to the spot and requested them to end protest. He assured them that service roads would be ready within in a month.
