Mystery vandalism resurfaces, many vehicles damaged
Bangalore, Dec 5, DHNS:

Yet another incident of unidentified miscreants vandalising vehicles parked on roads has been reported in the City.

As many as seven two-wheelers and three cars parked on roads in Shivajinagar, Frazer Town and Bharathinagar police station limits were damaged after miscreants pelted stones at them, between 10.30 pm and 11.45 pm on Friday.

The miscreants, who brandished swords, created panic among people who rushed to their homes for safety. The stone-pelting also injured two people.

The police, however, are yet to ascertain the nature of the incident. They are not ruling out any possibility, saying it could be the result of a scuffle between two groups or an act of vandalism by some miscreants.

Few months ago, Yeshwanthpur, Banashankari and Kumaraswamy Layout areas had also witnessed vandalism of vehicles and shops by the miscreants who were subsequently arrested by the police.

Meanwhile, unidentified persons damaged a car parked in front of a house on Plain Street in Commercial Street police limits on Friday night.

The incident came to light on Saturday morning. The accused reportedly used sticks to damage window panes. There were no valuables inside the car.
