D cards to enter Cubbon Park

The Horticulture Department has introduced identity cards for regular visitors to Cubbon park.

Those interested can purchase the cards by paying an annual fee of Rs 200. This system is the first step towards introducing fee for entry into the park.

In the days to come the department will restrict entry to the park only through four points. Whoever wishes to enter the park should have either the entry ticket or the annual pass. The department is yet to fix the entry fee.

For ID cards the applicants must fill in the prescribed application available at the office of the Horticulture Department in the park and submit two photos along with Rs 200. The applicant will get the card within 10 days after filing the application. For details call 26578184.
