All in one-and-a-half hours Traffic jams, water-logging and two deaths



Normal life was thrown out of gear and commuters were stranded on the roads for hours, thanks to a record 30.5 mm of rainfall in one-and-a-half hour on Friday afternoon. This is the highest burst of rain this year. Two people were electrocuted to death in Kalasipalya and Koramangala. Areas near LIC Colony, Madivala, Jayanagar, Chamrajpet, Lalbagh, Adugodi, JR Nagar, Mysore Circle and National Games Village were badly hit. Massive traffic jams were also reported from many areas in South Bangalore.
